🕹️ How to Play 🕹️

The game begins with a single WIN rule on the board. Every rule follows a strict three-part syntax:

Rule Component What it Means Example
COUNT How many dice must fit the criteria. NONE, 4, MORE
DESCRIPTION What values the dice need to be. PRIME, HIGH (4+), EVEN
ACTION What happens if the condition is met. WIN (Gain points), LOSE, DRAW

🎲 Rolling the Dice 🎲

During the Roll Phase, you choose which dice you want to hold. All of the unselected dice will be rerolled. Your goal is to try to make sure your dice match rules on the board with positive benefits while avoiding rules with negative ones.

🃏 Playing Rules 🃏

During the Rule Phase, you can play any number of cards from your hand onto the board to alter an existing rule or draft a brand-new one. When you play a card, it's locked in place and cannot be replaced for one round (indicated by the lock icon). At the start of each Rule Phase, the player draws until they have 5 cards, so don't be afraid to play as many rules as you want. Cards must match their slot type, with one exception: Digit Cards. Digits can be placed in any slot, changing their meaning based on where they land.

  • Example 1: 4 PRIME WIN If exactly 4 dice are prime numbers, trigger WIN 4 times (+4 points).
  • Example 2: MORE 4 DRAW  If you have more 4s than your opponent, draw cards equal to the amount of 4s you rolled.
  • Example 3: ALL ODD 4  If all of your dice are odd, they are counted as fours for any subsequent rules.

🔄 Turn Order 🔄

Each player takes turns rolling dice to try to trigger rules on the board to earn points. BUT your opponent can sabotage your roll by changing the rules on the board before the roll.

1. Hold Phase: Player chooses which dice to hold and which to roll.

2. Rule Phase: The opposing player then draws until they have 5 cards in hand. Then, they can play any number of their rule cards on the board to replace a word in any existing rule, or start a new rule. For example, an opponent could replace a WIN action with a LOSE action so the rolling player loses points.

3. Resolution Phase: The roll proceeds, and the roll is evaluated over all rules on the board. Rules are resolved in reverse order, starting with the most recently played. This way, you can make new rules to counter older ones.

Players then swap roles for the next round.

The player who establishes a 20 point lead first wins. Otherwise, at the end of 10 rounds, the player with the highest score wins.
